Eric Andrews is a clean cut, well-bred young man who’s charm is an instant killer. He’s a bit shy,a bit awkward, and a whole lot of funny. His slightly irregular upbringing has given him different insights on the world he lives in.
While Eric may still look like a young comedian, that hasn’t stopped him from racking up some impressive stand up accolades that include a Canadian Comedy Award for Best Stand Up Newcomer. As well as battling out over 700 other comedians and being crowned SiriusXM Satellite Radio’s Canada’s Next Top Comic. His successes are also starting to branch out of Canada and he’s making an impact in the U.S. He took home the top prize in The Cleveland Comedy Festival and was awarded the Best Comedian of the Festival.
Things are constantly on the rise for Eric as he’s made it to perform at the very prestigious Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, as well as a string of show for JFL42 in Toronto. Not to mention a bunch of other very fun festivals in Sudbury Comedy Fest and the Kitchener/Waterloo Comedy Fest.
Eric has been featured on TV on The Comedy Network where he was one of the Top 8 finalists in the Great Canadian Laugh Off. He was also a series regular on the Discovery Channel’s “Prank Science” playing the local crash test scientist who would do anything in the name of science. You might have also seen him pop up on other channels such as Disney, CTV, and MUCH.
You can catch Eric as the sidekick on the weekly Mark Forward Podcast available on iTunes; a fun and silly podcast that deals with a new topic every week where he and Mark discuss what they think on whatever comes up.
